Fish for 30 varieties including Bass, Kokanee, Rainbow trout and the Walleye, considered a gourmet delicacy. There are trophy mule and whitetail deer, blue and mountain grouse, turkeys and occasional moose. The long shoreline of Lake Roosevelt contains numerous small coves etched into rocks, clean beaches of sand, and bluffs that blend into thick forests that rise into mountains. This area is the dry sunny side of the state with an annual rainfall of only 14 inches and has four distinct seasons.
